XX6 Model 6″ Cable Carrier

Gortrac XX6 is a large steel cable carrier with a 6” (152 mm) link height and is designed to manage heavy cable loads. The standard version is lighter than the Gortrac XL6, while retaining similar unsupported spans. Pick your cavity width and choose from six curve heights from 26” to 60”. Optional aluminum armor plates provide an enclosed link to shield out debris.

- Bolted aluminum flat bar (AF) for better protection against cable/hose wear
- Custom steel flat bars or machined crossbars
- Window extenders for extra interior space

How to Create a Part Number:
Model – Crossbar Style – Bar Width – Height – Separators – Length – Bracket (fixed) – Bracket (moving)

Example: XL6-PR-5.25-530-1-132.84-#2IN-#3OUT

Length is the distance between flanges (B.F. Length); specify in inches (2 decimals).
- Length = Travel/2 + CL (+ offset distance from center).
- Dynatect recommends mounting the stationary end of the carrier at the center of travel, minimizing the required length.
- In cases where center mounting is not possible, add the distance offset from center to the carrier length calculation.
Bracket: For each end, specify arrangement # (1-4) and inward- or outward-facing holes (IN/OUT)

How to Specify Brackets

Specify both bracket arrangement # and direction of mounting holes. Mounting holes can be inward (IN) facing or outward (OUT) facing.

Example: #1 arrangement and inward facing holes = #1-IN

Example: #4 arrangement and outward facing holes = #4-OUT

Standard Mounting Bracket Arrangements

The arrows point to the mounting surfaces of the chain, which are the flat areas on either side of the chain that are used to secure it to a machine or piece of equipment. These surfaces are part of the brackets or flanges (also known as mounting brackets) that are attached to the chain.

The bracket configuration number is the same for both ends of the chain and identifies the relationship between the mounting surfaces of the brackets and the curve of the chain.
