Polyclutch®

Dynatect manufactures miniature to medium size slip clutches under its Polyclutch® line, ranging in torque capacities from 0.5 to 750 lb-in. Toothed jaw and one-way clutches are also available. Polyclutch® series clutches consist of the Slipper line, Series 12, Slip-Ease, Slip-Aire (pneumatic), and more recently, the V-Series line. Applications: Overload Protection, Tension Control, Torque Control, Soft Starts/Cushion Stops, Indexing, Positioning/Retention Hinge.

HISTORY

In 2008, Dynatect (formerly A&A Manufacturing) purchased Custom Products Corporation, known for its quality manufacturing of its Polyclutch® line of friction plate slip clutches. The original Polyclutch® friction clutch line was developed in 1968.

Throughout the years, Polyclutch® has successfully developed mechanical and pneumatic slip clutch systems that combine its unique clutch products with appropriate small motors. Dynatect’s proprietary burn-in process ensures that all slip clutches will perform consistently right out of the box, with no break-in period required.
