Telescopic Scissors-Style Sliding Plate Cover Replacement

mazak shield way coverA customer sent in a Z-axis telescopic scissor-style sliding plate cover for a MAZAK Integrex e 1060 V8 II. These machines use telescopic sliding plates that ride within a metal frame in 4 adjacent vertical locations (upper, lower, left side, and right side). The customer was suffering through a situation where the covers were coming apart and he was ready for a change. So instead of scrapping the frame and cover, they sent it to Dynatect for a fresh take. Dynatect refurbished the frame/rails and replaced the telescopic plates with more resilient
