Materials used in Dynatect Products

Metals

Dynatect uses the following metals in fabrication of customized products such as roll-up doors and metal protective covers:

  • Steel (hot rolled steel, cold rolled steel, stainless steel, steel rod)
  • Aluminum (6063 and 6005)

Elastomers

Engineered elastomers offer tailored performance to meet demanding application challenges
Elastomers are engineered materials that combine flexibility, durability, and customizable performance characteristics to outperform traditional materials in wear, abrasion, chemical exposure, and mechanical stress. They enable tailored solutions for complex applications by supporting a wide range of hardness levels, formulations, and molding processes.

Bellows: Specialty textiles & elastomer-coated fabrics

Dynatect’s industrial textiles deliver durable protection for bellows using specialty coated and uncoated fabrics engineered to withstand heat, contaminants, UV exposure, and demanding machine environments.

Across bellows and fabric-based protective covers, Dynatect has several materials to choose from to balance cost, performance, and longevity. The following chart lists common stocked bellows material and their associations with Dynatect bellows constructions (Folded, Gorframe, Heat-Sealed, Sewn, Sewn-Folded, and Thermiseal)

Polyurethane (Molded Products)

Polyurethane provides exceptional wear resistance, strength, and design flexibility for high‑performance components
Polyurethane delivers exceptional abrasion resistance, load‑bearing strength, and impact absorption while offering greater design flexibility and longer service life than many plastics, metals, or traditional rubbers. It can be precisely formulated to meet demanding performance requirements in friction, hardness, and environmental resistance.

  • Cast Polyurethane
  • Polyurethane foam

Rubber (Molded Products & Way Wipers)

Rubber delivers versatile, resilient performance for sealing, protection, and durability in tough environments
Rubber elastomers provide versatile performance with excellent flexibility, weather resistance, and application‑specific benefits such as oil, heat, or chemical resistance. They are ideal for seals, gaskets, vibration control, and industrial components requiring durability and resilience.

Types of rubber:

  • Natural Rubber
  • SBR (Styrene‑Butadiene Rubber)
  • Nitrile Rubber (NBR)
  • Neoprene (CR)
  • Butyl Rubber (IIR)
  • Fluoroelastomer (FKM)

Plastics

Dynatect uses the over 15 types of plastics to manufacture customized products, including:
