SB Model 1.38″ Cable Carrier

The SB is a small, lightweight metal cable carrier with a 1.38” overall link height and 5.50” curve height. Suitable for mobile construction equipment and machine tools.

Weight Load Chart

  • Find the weight you want to put in the cable carrier on the left side of the chart (additional load)
  • Then follow that row across until you get to the maximum unsupported length line.
  • Unsupported length (a.k.a. unsupported span) is the maximum distance possible between the moving end mounting bracket and the topmost link of the curve.
  • For a standard cable carrier mounted with the fixed end at center of travel, this length is 1/2 the system travel + 1 link pitch.
  • This length can be greater or shorter if the fixed end is offset mounted from the center of travel.
