The Polyclutch Slip-Ease is a mechanical slip clutch with an axial loaded multi-plate design. For applications where space is at a premium and low backlash is required. Torque capacities of up to 500 lb-in.
Can accommodate shaft sizes up to 1.25″ (see dimension B – Max. in Specifications)
Available in fixed torque (EFS, EFO models) or adjustable torque (EAS, EAO models) configuration.

Specifying a Polyclutch Part Number
Slip-Ease clutches will start with the letter ‘E’
1- Type of Clutch (E=Slip-Ease)
2- Torque: A = adjustable, F = factory preset (fixed)
3- Installation Type (‘S’ or ‘O’)
4- Outer diameter
5- Cartridge bore size
6- Housing bore size

Bore size changes – English (inches) and metric (mm)
High torque option, accomplished by extra springs – “H” part no. suffix. Will increase capacity of standard adjustable slip clutches to 50% (note: removing springs will lower capacity, increase sensitivity)
Keyways – English and metric – “K” part no. suffix
*Heavy inner plates for extra cooling – “D” part no. suffix
*Note: Plate modification is subject to the space limitations (dimension C) of standard clutches. Further customization (model dependent) may be needed to accommodate thicker plates.
