Retrofit and Simple Field Replacement
Dynatect has standard and custom offerings, including options to replace swing-out doors with pre-packaged roll-up door assemblies.
Aluminum extrusions are individually replaceable without disassembling the entire door by removing push out clips on each end.

There are five side rail options available to accommodate the structure of your equipment compartment: Standard, Universal, R-Series, P-Series, or Recessed.
Manual Key Lock – Choice of standard cam locks – types: J236, B1250, CH751, CH501. Lock is raised to allow easy access. Heavy-duty locks are available for large doors.
Plunger Power Lock Option – This option is always combined with the Manual Key Lock option shown above. Together, they uniquely allow for a power loss bypass from the outside of the compartment in the event of a power failure. Supports 12VDC power/controls. Designed to work with standard bar handle. Ship loose. Mounting and wiring is the installer’s responsibility.
Rotary Power Lock Option – Ideal for delivery vehicles, works on all compartments. Unique ability to bypass lock from inside the compartment in the event of power failure. Uniquely features integrated latch status monitoring relay output. A single lock will secure doors up to 72” wide. Supports 12-24VDC power/controls (plunger power lock only available at 12VDC). Compact form factor at nearly half the size/volume of other power locks. Designed to work with standard bar handle. Ships Loose. Mounting and wiring is the installer’s responsibility.
Remote Control Option for Either Power Lock Option – This option is always combined with either Power Lock Option above. Remote control option includes choice of user-friendly RF keypad and/or RF FOB. Provides increased security and convenience for keyless entry. Ships loose; any mounting and wiring is the installer’s responsibility.
Custom Handle & Lock Options – Dynatect will co-develop custom handle / latch / lock options for high-volume OEM adoptions. Customizable features include, but aren’t limited to: form factor, mounting styles, actuations (paddle, lever, bar, pawl, pull, button, etc), keyed locks, key types, safety/manual bypass, metal finishes, powered voltages, power consumption, electronic actuation signal duration, latch status monitoring, re-locking automation, and electrical connector styles.
Magnetic door ajar switch – allows operator to know instantly if door is not securely closed.
Tall doors can optionally include a pull strap to accommodate closing while the operator is standing on the ground, regardless of truck height.
Locking Paddle Handle
Ideal when the customer/application values flush aesthetics, integrated key lock, and/or license plate mounting surface (rear door)
Suitable for all applications including Work Trucks, Delivery Vehicles, or Emergency Vehicles
Option which replaces the traditional bar-type handle
Turnkey system of paddle handle, keyed lock, connections to latch release mechanisms on both sides of the door, inside cover, and inside release handle

Roll-up doors shall be Gortite brand manufactured by Dynatect Manufacturing, Inc.
Roll-up doors to be constructed of double sided aluminum extrusions. The extrusions are to be 1-3/8″ wide and 3/8″ thick with satin anodized finish or painted to match truck body.
A flexible extrusion shall be between each slat to ensure a weather-tight seal
Aluminum extrusions shall be individually replaceable without disassembling the entire door by removing push out clips on each end
Side channels for the door to ride in shall be provided with seals to prevent dirt and moisture from entering compartment. A single piece top drip rail shall be provided with a seal to prevent dirt and moisture from entering the compartment when the door is fully closed. Bottom of door will also be provided with a seal.
All non-metallic parts to be glass-filled nylon
Lift bar shall be made of stainless steel
The door shall be capable of operating in temperatures of -40° F to 180° F
Optional accessories shall include a magnetic door ajar system, compartment lighting, manual key lock, power lock, sill plate and pull strap for tall doors
