The MA series is an open-style metal cable carrier comprised of a 3 sided link with a 2.50” pitch and a 2.00” link height. It utilizes proven extrude technology which allows for greater unsupported spans versus similar carriers. Peanut slots are on the outside of the link which allows it to be “self-cleaning”. It has a cleaner inside window compared to similar carriers with some details eliminated or moved to outside of the link.
Greater unsupported spans, with proven Gortrac extrude technology
Self-cleaning link design
Light-weight and strong
Applications: Aerial work platforms; Truck-mounted booms; Horizontal drilling machines; Material handling equipment; Industrial/machining equipment
How To Specify A Part Number Model – Bar Style – Bar Width – Height – Length – Bracket (fixed) – Bracket (moving)
Example: MA-RB-4.50-75-37.50-#1IN-#1IN
⇒ Length is specified in inches, to two decimals. It is the distance between flanges ⇒ (see formula on carrier side view diagram)
⇒ Specify bracket type and arrangement # for each end
Cross Bar Styles: – FB = Alternating link flat bar: steel bar alternating inside/outside radius (standard bar style) Flat bar is part of link.
– RB = bolted aluminum round bar on inside radius (optional bar style)
– PR = Poly Rollers over aluminum round bar (low friction wear surface) (optional bar style)

Travel/2 + CL (+ Offset Distance From Center*) = Length
Dynatect recommends mounting the stationary end of the carrier at the center of travel, minimizing the required length.
In cases where center mounting is not possible, add the distance offset from center to the carrier length calculation.
