Mechanical Slip Clutch with Integrated Ball Bearing: Easy Installation without Driveshaft Modifications
The V-Series Slipper is a mechanical slip clutch that provides torque control for capping and driving applications where a thrust load is applied.
Integrated ball bearing allows thrust loads up to 650 pounds without any effect on torque
Self-supporting hub design allows for easy installation (horizontal or vertical) without driveshaft modifications; shaft-through support is not required
May be used for pulley applications
Design allows rebuilding, if necessary
Customization: In addition to standard output bores, we can provide hex, square or threaded output bores in the housing end

Specifying a Polyclutch Part Number
1- Type of Clutch
2- A is adjustable torque, F is factory preset (fixed) torque
3- S is shaft to shaft
4- Outer diameter (generally represented in sixteenths of an inch)
5- Cartridge bore size (generally represented in sixteenths of an inch. For metric, add MM after bore size.
6- Housing bore size (generally represented in sixteenths of an inch. For metric, add MM after bore size.
